Dimensional Report

We prepare the dimensional report document for projects and companies that need it. This detailed report meticulously documents the measurements and dimensional tolerances of manufactured parts or products. It is essential to ensure that the parts meet the precise dimensional specifications established in the design.

Our dimensional report includes:

  1. Dimensions: The critical dimensions of the component that need to be measured and verified. This may include lengths, diameters, thicknesses, etc.
  2. Tolerances: The specified tolerances for each dimension, i.e., the allowable range of variation from the nominal dimension. Tolerances are crucial to ensure that the final product functions correctly and fits properly with other components.
  3. Measurement Methods: Description of the methods and tools used to perform the dimensional measurements, such as calipers, micrometers, CMM (coordinate measuring machines), among others.
  4. Measurement Results: The specific values obtained during the measurements, compared to the design specifications and allowed tolerances. This may include nominal values, measured values, and deviations.
  5. Conformity: An assessment of whether the measured dimensions meet the required specifications and tolerances. It can indicate if the component is within specifications or if adjustment or rework is needed.
  6. Signature and Approval: Signature of the person responsible for taking the measurements and the person in charge of reviewing and approving the dimensional report.
